HELLO! I’M KRISTIN!
I love to build websites and create inventive marketing and branding for the creative type/ small biz since 2007.
My passion for web design started when I built my first actor website - my own, in 2002! I was in my early 20s with a busy acting career. Living in NYC / LA, I was loving the pace and work. Then my 30s hit: I got married and had two rambunctious kiddos. After bringing my grumpy toddler on auditions and asking actors in the waiting room to bribe him with cheerios, ‘while I just went in the room real quick’, I realized I needed a change of pace.
Actor and artist friends saw my site and asked me to help build their websites. I happily obliged and in the process found that I was digging it! I loved tapping into my own artistic side and being able to channel each individual actors style and vibe through their site. I hand built/coded websites with unique quirks and added sound and flash animation. From day one, this has always been my goal: no cookie cutter sites. Individual sites, that stand out, showcase the artist and always, always keep it simple and clean. It is a known statement in the acting world: KISS (Keep It Simple, Sweetheart!).
I started taking classes at UCLA Extension and building sites from scratch with Adobe Dreamweaver. Over time I have built on multiple site builders: Wordpress, Wix, Shopify, Bluehost, GoDaddy, WooCommerce - you name it, but Squarespace has always been my fave and the one I recommend the most to my clients. It is reasonable, easy to code and leaves the client with a dead simple way to make their own updates and control their own content long after I have built it. I am always learning new techniques and love to keep up on all the exciting changes that are happening constantly in the web design business.

MINI BIO
Kristin Campbell is a web and graphic designer born in Los Angeles and raised in Oslo, Norway. Kristin started her career as an actor. She studied theatre at Harvard University, MXAT and RADA. She has lived in Boston, New York, Portland, London & Moscow. She has been on television shows, movies, commercials and (her favorite) on stage. In her spare time, she likes to hike and foster baby kittens. And she loves a crisp sparkling water and relaxing with a good book.
